Toyota and Lexus Rank First in Consumer Insight Survey for Imported Car Sales and A/S Satisfaction
Toyota Ranks 1st and Lexus 2nd in Sales Service Satisfaction (SSI)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Toyota Motor Korea announced on the 4th that Toyota ranked first in 'Sales Service Satisfaction (SSI)' and Lexus tied for first place in 'A/S Satisfaction (CSI)' in the '2022 Automobile Planning Survey' conducted by Consumer Insight.
Consumer Insight, renowned for its independent and objective consumer research, has been conducting planning surveys annually since 2001, targeting approximately 100,000 automobile consumers each year.
In the 'Sales Service Satisfaction (SSI)' category, the Toyota brand received a total of 838 points, rising from second place last year to first place this year, while Lexus scored 837 points, narrowly taking second place. Both Toyota and Lexus scored higher than the average score of 786 points for imported car brands. As a result, Toyota ranked first in the sales service satisfaction category in 2015, 2019, 2020, and 2022, while Lexus ranked first in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2021, with the Toyota and Lexus brands alternating first place for eight years since 2015.
Additionally, in 'A/S Satisfaction,' Lexus achieved first place for four consecutive years from 2019 to this year with 846 points, while Toyota ranked third with 838 points.
