Gyeonggi Office of Education Conducts Kindergarten Enrollment Demand Survey... Until the 31st of This Month
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will conduct a kindergarten enrollment demand survey from the 4th to the 31st.
This survey, conducted every three years, aims to understand whether young children in the province will enroll in kindergarten and their preferred types of institutions.
The Office of Education will use the survey data to establish plans for early childhood placement.
The survey targets guardians of young children aged 0 to 4 years residing in the province.
The survey will be conducted through a random sampling method via mail and wireless phone calls.
The survey items include ▲ age of the young child ▲ enrollment status in early childhood education and care institutions ▲ preferred types of early childhood education and care institutions by age ▲ suggestions related to the kindergarten system and operation.

Ryu Young-shin, Director of the School Establishment Planning Division at the Office of Education, said, "The kindergarten enrollment demand survey is an important survey that forms the basis for establishing early childhood placement plans," and requested, "Please actively cooperate so that placement can be made centered on the demand side."
