View original image[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Yunjin Kim] Cheonan City in Chungnam Province, the Korea Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations (Korea Federation of Arts), and BJ Global signed a business agreement on the 29th to create a cultural and artistic landmark at Seongseong Lake Park.
On the 29th, the Korea Federation of Arts, Cheonan City, and BJ Global signed a business agreement at Cheonan City Hall to establish an art center near Seongseong Lake Park and promote related events. Through this agreement, they plan to cooperate in various ways to develop a cultural and artistic complex facility near Seongseong Lake Park and hold cultural and artistic events, expanding their network.
Cheonan City will actively support the costs of cultural and artistic events promoted by the Korea Federation of Arts, and BJ Global plans to provide space for events in the Urban Creative City (UCC) in Seobuk-gu, Cheonan. Going forward, a working-level consultative body will be formed under the auspices of Cheonan City to discuss detailed promotion plans.
The Korea Federation of Arts, established in 1962 to promote the exchange of arts and culture and enhance the rights of artists, is the largest non-profit corporation in the domestic arts and culture sector. It consists of 10 member associations including architecture, traditional Korean music (gugak), literature, entertainment, theater, film, music, fine arts, photography, and dance, as well as over 170 city and provincial federations and branches nationwide.
Regarding this business agreement, Lee Beomheon, President of the Korea Federation of Arts, stated, "Taking this opportunity to sign a business agreement with Cheonan, a key city in the central region, we will hold diverse cultural and artistic events in Cheonan where citizens can directly participate and enjoy freely."

Park Sangdon, Mayor of Cheonan, emphasized, "Through this business agreement, Seongseong Lake Park is expected to become a 'hot place' and cultural and artistic landmark in Cheonan that satisfies the cultural needs of citizens."
