[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Gangnam Jevisco Co., Ltd. announced on the 30th that it has developed a can lining coating 'KC-4380-052' that does not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) and is applying it to export food containers.
The can lining coating developed purely with Gangnam Jevisco's own technology is a product certified by the Swiss Quality Testing Services (SQTS), a Swiss quality testing agency, and contains no BPA related to environmental hormones, making it compliant with food container standards in the European Union and the United States, where regulations are strict.
In addition, with excellent workability, it is roll-coated in sheet form on metal materials such as tin-plated or chrome-plated steel and aluminum, perfectly preserving canned foods such as fruits and seaweed, and has strong heat resistance, flexibility, and corrosion resistance even under high-temperature sterilization treatment for sterilizing the contents.
