Krafton Launches 'Moonbreaker' Early Access on Steam
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Krafton has launched 'Moonbreaker,' developed by the independent studio Unknown Worlds, on the global game distribution platform Steam as an Early Access title on the 30th.
Moonbreaker is a turn-based strategic tabletop tactical game developed by Unknown Worlds, the creators of the underwater exploration adventure game series 'Subnautica.' Players form squads by combining over 50 different units and powerful battleship support skills, engaging in battles against opponents each turn through strategic decisions to achieve victory.
The game fully digitizes the experience of physical miniature games, allowing players to feel the analog board game atmosphere. It adds visual enjoyment with a newtro-style artwork that evokes the 1980s and 1990s vibe. Notably, Moonbreaker offers a deep customization system that lets players showcase their preferences. Using various painting tools including brushes and sprays, players can paint miniatures to create unique units. They can decorate miniatures with various collected ornaments and add unit effects, while limited-edition decorations provided as seasonal rewards enable diverse customization options.
