Milk Self-Support Committee Hosts 'Domestic Cheese Discount Event'
20% Discount on 15 Types of Domestic Cheese at Hyundai Food Hall ToHome Until October 9
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The Milk Industry Promotion Committee announced on the 29th that it will hold a discount event for domestic cheeses at Hyundai Food Hall ToHome from the 30th of this month until the 9th of next month.
This event features participation from five brand companies including Dongwon F&B, Seoul Milk, Imsil Cheese, Jeju Livestock Cooperative, and Chungbuk Dairy Cooperative. Customers can purchase a total of 15 types of domestic cheeses, ranging from grilling cheeses to mozzarella and string cheese, at a 20% discounted price. Customers who purchase event products will receive gifts on a first-come, first-served basis: ▲ Cheese grinder (for purchases over 20,000 KRW) ▲ ToHome plating cutting board (for purchases over 50,000 KRW).
This event was organized to promote domestic cheeses. Domestic cheeses are characterized by a shorter aging period than imported cheeses, resulting in a mild flavor and soft texture. Recently, cheese recipes made at home have gained attention on social networking services (SNS), increasing demand for ricotta cheese, burrata cheese, and fresh mozzarella cheese with a fresh milk taste, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of domestic cheeses.
