View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Yeongam-gun announced on the 28th that it has established the 'Yeongam 365 U-Library (Smart Library)' at Samho-eup Administrative Welfare Center to provide 24-hour book lending services throughout the year.
The 'U-Library' is a lifestyle-oriented library where books placed inside the unmanned device can be borrowed and returned.
This project is being promoted after Yeongam-gun was selected for the '2022 U-Library Service Support Project' hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The service is available to any resident holding a Yeongam-gun library membership card, which can be issued by visiting a local library.

County Governor Woo Seung-hee said, "We have opened the 365 Smart Library for citizens who had difficulty accessing libraries due to time and space constraints," and added, "We will continue to do our best to provide library services closely connected to residents' lives and cultural activities for the residents."
