Seongnam City Appoints Yoon Chang-hyun, Former Board of Audit and Inspection Officer, as Auditor Assistant
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province has appointed Yoon Chang-hyun (57), a Grade 5 auditor from the Board of Audit and Inspection, as the first auditor of the 8th elected administration.
Auditor Yoon entered public service in 1989 and worked as a Grade 5 auditor at the Board of Audit and Inspection for 8 years from 2014, serving in the Public Institution Audit Bureau, Special Investigation Bureau, and Land, Infrastructure and Maritime Audit Bureau.
Auditor Yoon will assume office on the 1st of next month and will be responsible for overall audit duties for two years until September 30, 2024, including establishing and promoting Seongnam City's comprehensive audit plan, auditing subordinate organizations, promoting integrity policies, investigating misconduct and disciplinary actions, and protecting citizens' rights and interests.
