Yeonggwang-gun Holds On-site Discussion for Creating Successful Rural Convergence Industry Models
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kang Jongman) recently held a field discussion on the creation of a successful rural convergence industry model related to the Yeonggwang Chalbori New Vitality Plus Project at the Sangsa Flower Education Center, the county announced on the 27th.
Before the discussion, the county visited and toured Saetteumwon, a company processing young barley, and Saeam Foodment, which produces Sikhye, malt powder, and barley tea, to listen to the voices from the field of Yeonggwang barley processing industry.
At the discussion, presentations were made on topics such as new product development strategies for the rural convergence industry (Jung Gwangho, CEO of INB Solutions), rural convergence industry promotion and marketing strategies (Choi Young, CEO of Toomi Korea), and experience products and regional cooperation plans for the rural convergence industry (Lim Seok, Director of Gwangju Dong-gu Art Travel Center).
Additionally, a panel discussion was held on the activation of the Yeonggwang Chalbori rural convergence industry, providing time to explore ways to create a successful rural convergence model suitable for Yeonggwang-gun.
Kim Yongryeol, head of the Rural Convergence Industry Advisory Group at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, said, “I hope this becomes a place for empathy and understanding of field issues, gaining inspiration and ideas necessary for the development of the Yeonggwang Chalbori industry, and communication and empathy among members.”
Governor Kang Jongman said, “Taking this field discussion as an opportunity, we will accelerate the activation of the Yeonggwang barley convergence industry and strive to enhance the added value of Yeonggwang agricultural products, thereby increasing the income of residents and advancing into a healthy food industry for the nation.”
