Creating Forest Healing Spaces... Busan Gijang-gun Begins Construction of 'Jangan Healing Forest'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun began construction of the 'Jangan Healing Forest' on the 16th.
In 2018, Gijang-gun received requests from residents to create a park in the Myeongrye-ri area and reviewed ways to utilize county-owned land. As a result of the review, it was decided to develop the area into a healing forest, a forest therapy space.
The 'Jangan Healing Forest' will include ▲a forest playground ▲a meditation forest ▲a loess road ▲walking trails, providing residents with a forest healing space and aiming to revitalize the local community.
Construction of the Healing Forest began on the 16th and is scheduled to be completed by March next year.
After the establishment of the Healing Forest, customized forest education programs tailored to all age groups throughout their life cycles will be operated, offering residents forest experience and forest welfare services such as forest education.
