Busan Bank Opens First Joint Branch with Kookmin Bank Among Regional Banks
Busan Bank Geumgok-dong Branch Relocates to Kookmin Bank Geumgok-dong Sub-branch Building
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] BNK Busan Bank announced on the 26th that it will open the first joint branch of a regional bank in Geumgok-dong, Buk-gu, Busan, together with Kookmin Bank.
The joint branch is a new type of branch model attempted to maintain customers' face-to-face channel accessibility and enhance financial convenience in areas with a shortage of financial institutions. Considering the distance between existing branches and customer convenience, the Busan Bank Geumgok-dong branch was relocated to the Kookmin Bank Geumgok-dong sub-branch building, where space was prepared.
Each bank will have four employees working at the joint branch, and spaces such as the lobby, automated corner, and parking lot will be shared. Spaces necessary for individual operations, such as counters and vaults, will be operated separately.
