IPX Signs Business Agreement with Sandbox Network... Expanding Collaboration Based on Web 3.0
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] IPX (formerly Line Friends) announced on the 26th that it has signed a strategic business agreement with the MCN company Sandbox Network.
Through this business agreement, IPX plans to develop new IP based on the intellectual property (IP) of creators affiliated with Sandbox Network, and to launch products ranging from MD to non-fungible tokens (NFTs), thereby expanding its IP business across both online and offline channels. By securing competitive creator IPs, IPX aims to strengthen its multi-IP strategy with a differentiated business model that brings together the fandoms of its existing IP fans, numbering over 40 million, as well as the fandoms of leading content creator IPs.
Sandbox Network expects that this collaboration will allow it to focus more on its creator content capabilities and to develop new IP content businesses utilizing IPX’s popular IPs. Through this, both companies plan to enhance their capabilities and know-how while creating synergy by launching new business ventures.
IPX has demonstrated its IP business capabilities based on globally popular IPs such as Line Friends and BT21, spanning offline retail, online commerce, and NFT businesses based on Web 3.0.
