"Premium Bakery Cafe" CJ Foodville Renovates Tous Les Jours Flagship Store at CJ CheilJedang Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Tous Les Jours, a bakery operated by CJ Foodville, announced on the 26th that it will reopen the 'Jeiljedang Center Branch' with a new look on the 5th of next month.
Located on the first floor of CJ Group's 'Jeiljedang Center,' the Tous Les Jours Jeiljedang Center Branch opened in 2011 and is approximately 1112.6㎡ (336.5 pyeong) in size, making it the largest Tous Les Jours store in Korea. It is a premium store that differentiates itself from regular stores through its ingredients and manufacturing methods. It has also served as a test bed for launching new products first.
CJ Foodville redefined the concept of the Jeiljedang Center Branch as an 'authentic bakery cafe' and renovated the store to enhance the experience of freshly made bakery items prepared daily on-site and a comfortable, friendly space. The Jeiljedang Center Branch, reborn after 11 years, is scheduled to officially open on the 5th of next month.
The most eye-catching feature is the Jeiljedang Center Branch's signature products developed to maximize the brand strength of 'healthy daily bakery.' First, the lineup of European bread has been further expanded using premium ingredients optimized for each product's characteristics, including flour, Tous Les Jours' self-developed fermentation starters that add flavor, AOP butter, and Guerande salt. Cakes have also been differentiated. Newly introduced are fresh whipped cream cakes that highlight the original ingredients and design, visually enhanced small-sized desserts, and customized photo cakes for customers.
Gift pastries have been improved by actively using premium ingredients such as French premium butter, Shinan sun-dried salt, and Maldon salt. Trendy ingredients like gamtae (seaweed) and blue cheese have been added to existing popular products, available exclusively at this location. The deli corner offers fresh salads made to order. The menu includes sandwiches such as 'Jambon Beurre' and 'Panini Toast,' which allow customers to enjoy the natural flavors of the ingredients in European bread, as well as various morning menus and salads.
The interior of the store uses natural materials to create a warm and friendly atmosphere. The space is maximized with counters and furniture arranged in organic shapes emphasizing volume. Additionally, upcycled objects made from materials such as rice husks, oyster shells, and eggshells have been introduced to express the brand's commitment to eco-friendly messages.
