22 Forestry Cooperatives in Gwangju and Jeonnam Sign Purchase Agreement for Garden Expo Tickets
Expansion of Expo Excitement with 50 Million Won Purchase Agreement for Garden Expo Tickets
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] The Suncheonman International Garden Expo Organizing Committee (Chairman Noh Kwan-gyu) announced on the 23rd, about 190 days before the expo, that it has signed a ticket purchase agreement worth 50 million KRW with 22 forestry cooperatives from Gwangju and Jeonnam.
At the agreement ceremony, Lee Jang-su, chairman of the Jeollanam-do Forestry Cooperative Council and head of the Jangheung Forestry Cooperative, Cho Jeong-rok, head of the Suncheon Forestry Cooperative, and Son Cheol-ho, director of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Forestry Cooperative Federation, attended.
Lee Jang-su, chairman of the Forestry Cooperative Council, said, "We joined the ticket purchase agreement to play a pioneering role in the successful hosting of the garden expo, a representative event in the forestry sector," adding, "We will not spare active interest and support together with forestry-related organizations nationwide."
Chairman Noh Kwan-gyu said, "We thank the forestry cooperatives for their great support toward the successful hosting of the 2023 Suncheonman International Garden Expo," and added, "Suncheon City will continue to take the lead in the development of the forestry sector, including gardens."
Meanwhile, the 2023 Suncheonman International Garden Expo will be held under the theme "Living in the Garden" at the National Garden, Suncheonman Wetland, and urban areas from April 1 to October 31, 2023, for seven months.
The Expo Organizing Committee is conducting a 20% discount event for ticket purchase agreements until September to create pre-event momentum, and from October, the pre-sale period for tickets, stepwise discounts of 10-15% will be offered.
