Cable TV Unites with 'Nune Neun Kineun Geunyeodeul' Season 2
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Cable TV has reunited for season 2, building on the success of 'Notable Women' season 1.
The Korea Cable TV Broadcasting Association announced on the 23rd that on the 22nd, five companies including LG HelloVision, CM Family Entertainment TV, TBS, Job Broadcasting, and Berry Media held a signing ceremony at the Gwangju Ace Fair Exhibition Hall and declared their joint production participation in 'Notable Women Season 2.'
Season 1 not only competed well in ratings against human documentaries with loyal fans on terrestrial channels but was originally produced targeting those aged 50 and above. However, it unexpectedly attracted attention from women in their 20s and 30s who are sensitive to life mentors, which is also evaluated as a factor leading to the production of season 2.
Meanwhile, the event was hosted by the Korea Cable TV Broadcasting Association's Cable Joint Production Cooperation Group as part of a project to enhance efficiency and secure original content by having PP and SO jointly own rights to production, scheduling, and distribution through joint investment. Besides joint production, the cooperation group is steadily expanding the exchange scheduling of excellent programs.
