'Bukgu Art Bus' Operates Every Friday Until December 16

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju City, is attracting attention by preparing a program that allows visitors to tour major tourist attractions in the district at once.
According to Buk-gu on the 22nd, the 'Buk-gu Art Bus' operates every Friday, allowing passengers to tour major tourist sites in the district by bus.
The course is composed of tourist attractions representing the three hyang (三鄕) of Uihyang (義鄕), Yehyang (藝鄕), and Mihyang (味鄕), and will run until December 16.
On the day, the bus departs from Songjeong Station at 10 a.m., tours the National 5·18 Democratic Cemetery where visitors can glimpse the righteousness (義) of Buk-gu, the Siga Literature Area (Hwanbyeokdang and Lake Ecological Park) where traditional art (藝) can be felt, and the Namdo Local Food Museum where taste (味) can be experienced, and finishes the schedule by returning to Songjeong Station at 5 p.m.
In particular, for the convenience of out-of-town tourists, the bus also stops at U-Square before arriving at Songjeong Station, and various experience programs such as making 5·18 rice balls are prepared.
Reservations can be made through the Gwangju Tourism Association website, with a first-come, first-served basis for up to 20 people per session, and the boarding fee is 1,000 KRW per person.
Director Moon said, "I hope many residents participate in the Art Bus that allows you to tour the attractive tourist sites of Buk-gu at once," and added, "We will continue to discover and promote various policies to revitalize the local tourism industry."
