Ottogi Announces Recruitment for Companies to Participate in 'Startup Open Stage'
Partnering with Seoul Creative Economy Innovation Center to Foster Outstanding Startups
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Ottogi announced on the 22nd that it is recruiting startups to participate in the 'Startup Open Stage' program in collaboration with the Seoul Creative Economy Innovation Center. The Startup Open Stage is an open innovation program designed to build networks through business cooperation between large corporations and startups.
The recruitment period is until the 20th of next month, targeting startups with technologies in the fields of ▲Eco-friendly (improvement of wastewater and exhaust treatment, utilization of food manufacturing by-products and waste, eco-friendly packaging) ▲Digital (deriving customer keywords, building taste databases, assetizing online mall data) ▲Others (development of food materials using microorganisms).
Selected companies will receive various benefits including ▲collaboration with Ottogi ▲up to 30 million KRW in business proof of concept (PoC) support funds ▲use of Ottogi's internal and external spaces during the PoC period ▲consideration for strategic investment. They can also receive follow-up support such as product sales linked with Ottogi Mall and external promotion related to commercialization.

An Ottogi official said, “This program was launched to discover and nurture startups with innovative ideas and excellent technologies and to develop collaboration models,” adding, “We will actively seek support measures to grow together with promising startups in the future.”
