Arrest of a Stalking Offender in His 50s... Visiting Home and Workplace, Sending Threatening Messages
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] A man in his 50s was arrested on stalking charges after visiting his acquaintance's residence and workplace and sending threatening messages over the course of a month.
According to the police on the 21st, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on the afternoon of the 19th at around 1:30 PM on Gangnam-daero in Seocho-gu for violating the Stalking Punishment Act.
It is known that Mr. A also sent threatening messages, including photos showing self-harm marks to the victim.

A police official stated, "We have applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A," and added, "Protective measures corresponding to the charges have also been taken for the victim."
