[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Two additional special policy advisors have been appointed in Ulsan City.
On the 21st, Ulsan City announced that it will appoint special policy advisors in the fields of economy and youth policy to suggest policy directions in various areas of city administration and to enhance the substance and efficiency of policies.
The appointment ceremony was held at 9 a.m. on the 21st in the Ulsan Mayor's office.
The appointed special policy advisors are Seo Seok-gwang (born 1968), Special Advisor for Economic Policy, and Son Geon-hee (born 1997), Special Advisor for Youth Policy.
Having the academic knowledge and experience in their respective fields, the two Ulsan special policy advisors will serve for two years from that day until September 20, 2024.
They will be responsible for suggesting policy directions on major city administration issues, proposing policy tasks for city development, promoting participation in city administration by related experts, stakeholders, and general residents, and collecting opinions.

An official from Ulsan City said, “Following the existing six special policy advisors, two more have been added this time, and more active policy proposals on city administration issues are expected,” adding, “We plan to actively discover necessary fields to revitalize the special policy advisor system and appoint more experts in those fields.”
