According to Samsung Electronics on the 21st, in India, where sales began on the 2nd, sales reached 1.7 times that of the previous model, and in Southeast Asia, 1.4 times, based on preliminary estimates. By country, Indonesia, the world's 4th most populous country, saw sales double compared to the previous model. New Zealand recorded 1.7 times the sales. Brazil and Mexico, where sales started on the 9th, also recorded shipments reaching 1.5 times those of the previous models.

Benjamin Brown, General Manager of Marketing for Europe (Executive Director), stated at the 'IFA 2022' press conference held in Berlin, Germany, on the 1st, that the initial shipments of the Z Flip4 and Fold4 set new early sales records.
The global sales ratio of the Z Flip4 to Fold4 was 6 to 4, showing that the Fold performed better compared to the previous models. Previously, the Z Flip3 and Fold3 had a ratio of 7 to 3. For the Z Flip4, while the Graphite color was generally popular, in regions with strong Korean Wave enthusiasm such as Southeast Asia, the Bora Purple color was overwhelmingly favored.

As of the 21st, Samsung Electronics has completed product launches in 127 countries including Korea, the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, India, and Latin America. Following the launch in Japan on the 29th, the global release will be completed by November with some countries in the Middle East and Africa.
