The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants Provides Accounting Education for Small Welfare Organizations
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] The Korean Women Certified Public Accountants Association (President Lee Young-sook) and Community Chest of Korea announced on the 20th that they have signed a business agreement for the ‘Visiting Accounting Education’ to strengthen the administrative capabilities of small-scale welfare institutions.
The accounting education program targets small-scale distribution project institutions nationwide with an annual budget of 300 million KRW or less, providing professional accounting and tax education to support the efficient execution of distribution projects.
Community Chest of Korea is responsible for recruiting institutions and providing educational venues for the ‘Visiting Accounting Education’ program, while the Korean Women Certified Public Accountants Association will design customized tax and accounting education curricula for each institution and provide education through pro bono work.
