According to Namdong-gu, Incheon City, on the 19th, a report was received that a woman in her 30s, Ms. A, a public official at an administrative welfare center in Namdong-gu, used someone else's resident registration card to visit a club in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 3rd.
Ms. A presented the resident registration card at the time of club entry. However, the club staff suspected unauthorized use after noticing that the photo on the resident registration card did not match Ms. A's actual appearance and reported it to the police.
As a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that Ms. A visited the club with a lost resident registration card that had been kept at the administrative welfare center where she worked. The victim, Mr. B, who was contacted by the police and later learned of the identity card misuse, filed a complaint with Namdong-gu through the National Civil Complaint Portal. He had lost his ID card around June.
