This event, under the theme 'Youth! A New Beginning,' proceeded in the order of ▲commemoration ceremony ▲meritorious person awards ▲youth policy proposals ▲commemorative performance, and was also broadcast live on YouTube in real time.
Additionally, after presenting youth policy proposals from three teams carefully selected during the Youth Ideathon held last August, the event proceeded with attendees voting on the proposals.
Mayor Woo Seung-hee encouraged, saying, "The future of Yeongam lies in changing with new methods and young ideas, and the youth are the main actors." He added, "We will definitely keep our promise to create a youth-friendly city by establishing a youth policy support team to expand youth participation in county administration and effectively resolve residential environment issues."
