View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Myung-Hwan Lee] Korea Exchange announced on the 19th that it has signed a social contribution agreement with Chung-Ang University Medical Center to provide medical support for low-income multicultural families.
This agreement was established to provide a one-stop medical support service to help multicultural families settle stably in Korea. The one-stop medical support service involves medical staff directly visiting multicultural families in medically underserved areas such as remote islands and mountainous regions to provide health checkups, coordinate vaccinations, and support treatment costs for severe illnesses.
Through this agreement, both organizations will systematically build various medical support projects, including dispatching medical personnel, recruiting beneficiaries, securing locations, and providing interpretation services.
The Exchange has been providing medical support for multicultural families since 2011. Through this effort, it has supported 14,842 low-income multicultural families nationwide with health checkups, treatment costs for severe illnesses, and free vaccinations such as cervical cancer vaccines, contributing to the improvement of their quality of life.
