Suwon City to Host 'Multicultural One Family Festival' on the 25th
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Suwon City, Gyeonggi Province, will hold the '14th Multicultural One Family Festival' on the 25th at the Suwon City Hall Auditorium.
Organized by the Suwon Foreigners Welfare Center, this event is a gathering for foreign residents, multicultural families, and native residents to come together in harmony. It will be held in a hybrid format, both in-person and online (via the Suwon Foreigners Welfare Center YouTube channel).
The main events include ▲ World Ethnic Costume Fashion Show ▲ 'International Day' Commemoration Ceremony ▲ Multicultural Special Performance ▲ Celebration Performances.
At the World Ethnic Costume Fashion Show, 50 foreign residents from various countries such as China, Japan, and Mongolia will showcase their traditional costumes.
During the International Day Commemoration Ceremony, awards will be presented to those who have contributed to foreigner support projects. In the Multicultural Special Performance, a foreign resident couple living in the Suwon area will hold a traditional Korean wedding ceremony.
Additionally, multicultural traditional performance teams (including the Suwon Multicultural Family Support Center performance team), trot singers Dangchan and Ryeohwa, will present diverse celebration performances.
