[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Sokcho Coast Guard announced on the 18th that "Due to the influence of Typhoon No. 14 'Nangmadol' starting from the 19th, strong winds and high waves (3~5m) along the East Coast, as well as the influx of swell waves, are expected, so a danger forecast advisory has been issued on the 18th."
Sokcho Coast Guard is strengthening patrols of dangerous areas such as beaches, breakwaters, and coastal areas through each coastal police substation, and has requested disaster broadcasts related to worsening maritime weather and the influx of swell waves in cooperation with local governments (Goseong, Sokcho, Yangyang).
