View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Former People Power Party leader Lee Jun-seok expressed discomfort on the 18th regarding the change in schedule for the Central Party Ethics Committee meeting.
On the same day, Lee posted on his Facebook, "The investigation schedule for the morning of the 17th was finalized after considerable coordination with investigative agencies well in advance. Until the investigation began, no other party officials or media had access to this schedule, but coincidentally, only the Ethics Committee started circulating stories about rescheduling the meeting to the 18th or 19th from that point onward," adding, "I hope this is just a coincidence."
Lee raised suspicions because the police investigation took place just one day before the Ethics Committee abruptly changed its meeting schedule.
