KT Unveils First Advertisement for 'Media Value Chain'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] KT announced on the 18th that it has launched the ‘KT Content Road’ advertisement featuring dramas and entertainment shows created by its media group companies such as KT Studio Genie and Skylife TV. This is the first advertisement emphasizing the group’s media content capabilities and vision since announcing the ‘Digital Content Company (Digico) KT Media Value Chain’ strategy last March.
The ‘KT Content Road’ advertisement features various contents including the ENA dramas Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Steel Troops, I am SOLO, There is No Goo Pil-soo, and Rookie. Notably, actress Park Eun-bin, who gained popularity through Extraordinary Attorney Woo, appears as the model, portraying the active role of KT’s media group in producing diverse content based on stories around us.

KT is strengthening its media value chain by establishing KT Studio Genie last year and acquiring Korea’s number one reading platform Millie’s Library, followed by this year’s rebranding of ENA (formerly Sky TV), which is a key part of Digico’s growth in the media content sector. Additionally, KT is transforming into a comprehensive media group based on synergies among its media group companies, including the launch of the merged entity of Skylife TV and Media Genie.
