[Poland (Krakow) = Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Incheon International Airport Corporation plans to lead global customer experience trends by hosting the 2023 Airport Council International (ACI) Customer Experience Global Summit in South Korea.
On the 15th (local time), Incheon Airport Corporation announced that it will jointly host the 5th ACI Customer Experience Global Summit with ACI in Krakow, Poland.
Earlier, on the 14th, the corporation signed a memorandum of understanding with ACI for the joint hosting of the 5th ACI Customer Experience Global Summit. At the closing ceremony of the 4th ACI Customer Experience Global Summit held in Krakow, Poland, the hosting rights were transferred from the current host, Krakow Airport. Key officials including Kim Kyung-wook, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, Blochek Radoslaw, Director of Krakow Airport, and Luis Felipe, Secretary General of ACI, attended the handover ceremony.
Accordingly, the 5th ACI Customer Experience Global Summit will be co-hosted by ACI and the corporation. It is scheduled to be held in Incheon, South Korea, in September 2023. Following the achievement of becoming the world’s first airport to obtain the highest level 5 certification in the ACI Customer Experience Certification Program, the corporation plans to lead customer experience trends on the international stage by attracting the largest customer experience-related event in the airport industry, the ACI Customer Experience Global Summit, which will be attended by over 600 international organizations and airport officials, to be held domestically.
Prior to the handover ceremony, President Kim Kyung-wook held an in-depth one-on-one discussion session with Luis Felipe, Secretary General of ACI, about changes in the airport industry and new service paradigms. President Kim introduced the success factors that enabled Incheon Airport to establish itself as a continuously excellent service airport, including 12 consecutive wins of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award. He especially emphasized Incheon Airport’s differentiated customer experience strategy preparing for the future and its role on the international stage going forward.
