Seongnam City Receives and Responds to Policy Proposals and Civil Complaints via Mobile Phones
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will receive citizens' policy proposals and civil complaints via mobile phones.
On the 16th, Seongnam City announced the launch of the "Citizen Text Communication Service," which allows citizens to easily send opinions on civil complaints and city administration via text messages and check responses. Mayor Shin Sang-jin of Seongnam decided to use his work mobile phone exclusively for receiving texts for this purpose.
The city will have the relevant departments review the received matters and promptly respond via text message.
