Ulleung-gun Provides Emergency Support to Pohang City Affected by Typhoon Damage
Ulleung County has stepped up to support equipment and manpower for recovery efforts in Pohang.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter An Kyungho] Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk, has stepped up to support equipment and volunteer manpower for the recovery of damage in the Pohang area caused by Typhoon ‘Hinnamno’.
To provide emergency recovery support to Pohang City, a cooperative city for mutual development, from the 16th to the 19th for four days, Ulleung-gun Office will participate in recovery work by supporting six recovery equipment owned by the county office (2 snowplows, 1 road cleaning vehicle, 1 water spraying vehicle, 2 mini snow removal agricultural machines) and 7 support personnel.
Ulleung-gun and Pohang City signed a mutual development cooperation agreement in 2007, solidifying their friendly cooperative relationship every year, and maintain their cooperation whenever they face disasters such as typhoons and heavy snow or hold various events.
