“Youth Whether Thriving or Failing” ... Dongmyung University Fall Festival ‘Heungcheongmangcheong’ Is Coming
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Hyolyn, The Ade, DJ The Quiett, Happiness, Kassy... Popular singers are visiting Dongmyung University to heat up the autumn university festival stage.
The name of the university festival is ‘On end Off’. It means a grand festival where people end COVID-19 (On), meet (end), and gather (Off) to create memories together. Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) is holding the event for three days with students from four universities.
The 44th Han Georeum Deo Student Council (President Choi Dong-hyuk, senior in Computer Engineering), which pursues nurturing ‘Do-ing’ talents with the motto of challenge, experience, and practice, is leading the festival.
Students, professors, and visitors will enjoy themselves to the fullest with excitement across the campus, including the main stadium, from the 19th to the 21st.
Over the three days and nights, there will be ▲photo zones ▲club performances ▲events ▲flea markets ▲one-day classes ▲Dongmyung Song Festival ▲Busan area university Festival, among others.
Invited singer performances are also scheduled. Hyolyn will perform on the 19th, The Ade, DJ The Quiett, and Happiness on the 20th, and Kassy will visit the festival on the 21st.
At the Busan area university Festival on the 21st, a total of 12 teams of students from four universities in Nam-gu ? Dongmyung University, Kyungsung University, Pukyong National University, and Busan Arts College ? will showcase dance, singing (bands), guitar performances, and more.
President Choi Dong-hyuk said, “Since students have not been able to properly enjoy university festivals for a long time due to COVID-19, we named this grand festival’s nickname ‘Heungcheongmangcheong (Heunghaedo Cheongchun, Manghaedo Cheongchun)’ meaning ‘Youth whether you prosper or fail’ to create new memories and feel warmth and solidarity together.”
