Allbin Wine Unveils a Wide Range of Unique Multinational, Multi-Varietal Wines
Wine Tasting at the 'Global Wine and Food Trip' Festival Held at Sebitseom, Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] From the 16th for two days, the 'Global Wine and Food Trip' held at Sebitseom Floating Island in Seocho-gu, Seoul, offers a chance to enjoy a variety of wines from around the world along with foods that pair well with them all in one place. Many well-known domestic wine importers will also participate, showcasing various wines.
According to Asia Economy on the 14th, Allvin Wine has prepared a variety of wines from several regions including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. First, the ‘Bernard Ronclas Blanc de Blancs Brut’ is a champagne made from 100% Chardonnay with an alcohol content of 12%. It features impressive aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits, peach, fresh pear, and lemon peel, with a mineral taste of limestone, ripe yellow apple, fresh herbs, and a long finish. It is excellent as an aperitif and pairs well with seafood.
The German ‘Thomas Schmidt Private’ collection is also presented. The ‘Dry QbA’ product is a Riesling from the Mosel region, harmonizing fresh fruit flavors and refreshing acidity balance, helping to create a clean finish. Also, the Mosel Riesling ‘Sp?tlese’ shows complex techniques with rich sweetness and diverse fruit flavors, finishing with firm acidity that pairs well with Asian cuisine. The ‘Pinot Noir QbA’ product is made from Mosel Pinot Noir, featuring silky tannins, soft acidity, and complex, rich fruit aromas, capturing the elegant characteristics of Pinot Noir.
You can also experience somewhat unfamiliar Uruguayan wine. ‘Don Pascual Tannat Crianza Roble’ is a wine with 13.5% alcohol content made from 100% Tannat harvested in the Montevideo region. Its color is deep purple, with impressive aromas of red fruits, ink, and minerals. The taste features blackberry and spices, with soft tannins that give the wine a significant presence. It is evaluated to pair well with meat dishes.
Portuguese fortified wine is also showcased. ‘Alambre Moscatel Rosso de Setubal’ is a fortified wine with 17.5% alcohol content, characterized by smooth and balanced acidity, rich fruit flavors, fresh sweetness, and a long finish. It pairs excellently with appetizers and various desserts. In addition, ‘Cazali del Barone 150+1’, a blend of Barbera and Nebbiolo from the Piedmont region of Italy, and ‘Garnacha Old Vine’, a blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo from the Aragon region of Spain, are also prepared.
