Hyundai Motor Group Supports the Bid for 'Expo 2030 Busan' at Sports Venues
Proceeding Together with KIA Tigers and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 14th that it will actively engage in support activities to promote the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo and generate domestic and international momentum through its group sports teams and official global SNS channels.
Hyundai Motor Group, which is conducting multifaceted support activities domestically and internationally to secure the Busan World Expo, is promoting various bid activities together with its baseball team, the KIA Tigers, and its soccer team, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, both of which have strong fan bases.

Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors also installed large banners supporting the Busan World Expo bid at their home stadium, Jeonju World Cup Stadium, at the end of July, and players wear the Busan World Expo emblem patch on their uniforms to join fans in wishing for the successful bid of the 2030 Busan World Expo.
Alongside this, Hyundai Motor Group is actively promoting the Busan World Expo bid globally through official SNS channels such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Hyundai Motor Group continuously posts content related to the international status and importance of the World Expo event, as well as Busan’s competitiveness and vision, in both English and Korean, to inform the world that Busan is the optimal location for the World Expo.
Furthermore, Hyundai Motor Group maintains ongoing interest and engagement in the Busan World Expo bid through various customer participation SNS events such as quizzes and cheering comment campaigns related to the Expo.
