After inheriting the throne following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III of the United Kingdom was seen repeatedly showing irritation while signing documents, as caught by broadcast cameras.
According to a foreign news report on the 13th (local time), Charles III visited Hillsborough Castle near Belfast, Northern Ireland, and became annoyed when ink from the pen smeared on his hand while signing the guestbook.
The broadcast footage showed Charles III looking at the ink on his hand and saying, "I really hate this," to which Queen Camilla, who was watching nearby, took the pen and replied, "It's spilled everywhere." Charles III then added, "I can't stand this damn thing. It's always like this."
Earlier, after signing, Charles III asked his aide, "Is today September 12th?" When the aide replied, "It's the 13th, Your Majesty," he said, "I wrote the wrong date," and rewrote it.
A former aide to Charles III reportedly said that the king is an interesting person but also has a quick temper and can be demanding.
This is not the first time Charles III has shown irritation. On the 10th, at the coronation ceremony held at St. James's Palace, he became annoyed before signing the declaration of accession, telling others to clear away the pen holder and ink bottle on the desk.

At that time, Charles III waved his hand several times to indicate that they should be removed, and his expression was not good. Eventually, Charles III took out a fountain pen from inside his jacket and signed the document instead of using the pen on the desk.
