Typhoon 'Hinnamno' Hits Pohang, Emergency Recovery Rate Only 17%
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Pohang, Gyeongbuk, which suffered extensive damage from Typhoon Hinnamnor, the 11th typhoon, is showing an emergency recovery rate of only 17% despite a week of restoration work.
According to Pohang City on the 13th, out of 14,203 places where damage occurred as of the previous day, 2,403 places have been emergency restored, showing a recovery rate of 16.9%. Public facilities recorded a recovery rate of 73.7%, with 1,430 out of 1,940 places restored. Private facilities have been restored in 973 out of 12,263 places, showing a 7.9% recovery rate.
