'Those Were the Days' ... Changnyeong-gun Photos from the 1970s to 2000 Released
Old Photo Archive Released on Military Website
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] Photos capturing the warm old people and scenes of Changnyeong-gun from 32 years ago to the present have been released, becoming a hot topic as people take time machine tours.
Changnyeong-gun announced on the 13th that it had released a photo archive depicting the old appearance of Changnyeong on the county's website last August.
An archive refers to a collection of information files digitized from collections or materials for easy use. The archive was promoted following a proposal by County Councilor Hong Seong-do during the 2021 administrative audit.
The photos released this time were taken with film cameras from 1978 to 2000 and include 1,325 photos showing changes in the county landscape, events, tourist attractions such as Bugok Oncheon and Upo Wetland, cultural assets, and the lives of residents, all available on the website.
The county plans to produce videos of the released old photos for residents to view on the county's YouTube channel, the county office civil service center, and town and township offices, with additional materials to be released next year.
