Incheon Namdong-gu, Research on 'Survey and Support Measures for At-Risk Youth'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Namdong-gu, Incheon has started a research project to strengthen the local youth safety net.
The district announced on the 13th that it recently launched the "Research Project on the Actual Conditions and Support Measures for At-Risk Youth."
The research, conducted by the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Incheon National University, aims to identify the actual conditions and needs of at-risk youth in Namdong-gu and to seek practical support measures.
The survey results will be used as basic data for establishing youth policies in Namdong-gu and for revitalizing leading safety net projects.
Previously, the district was selected in the "2022 Local Government Youth Safety Net Team Leading Project" contest hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, becoming the first in Incheon to promote a youth safety net leading project.

A Namdong-gu official stated, "Through the research project on the actual conditions of at-risk youth, we will explore ways to build a safety net tailored to the characteristics of Namdong-gu."
