Seoul District Treasury Contest Kicks Off... Eunpyeong-gu Treasury Selected Shinhan Bank
Eunpyeong-gu Holds Review on the 7th Afternoon for Shinhan Bank and Woori Bank, Selects Shinhan Bank as Manager for General Account, Special Account, and Fund Management Banks
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] As the selection of treasury banks for 25 autonomous districts in Seoul begins, Shinhan Bank has won the first competition.
Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) held a presentation (PT) session for the selection of the district treasury bank on the 7th from 2 p.m., with Shinhan Bank and Woori Bank participating.
Afterwards, the judging committee evaluated according to the criteria and announced on the morning of the 8th through the district website that Shinhan Bank was selected as the preferred negotiation target for the district treasury bank.
Accordingly, Shinhan Bank has secured a favorable position in the competition for the treasury banks of Seoul's 25 autonomous districts, including Guro-gu.
This is because Shinhan Bank was selected as the Seoul City treasury bank four years ago and was also chosen as the Seoul City treasury bank (operator of the 1st and 2nd funds) in the selection held last April, securing a favorable position.
In particular, as Shinhan Bank became the financial operator of the Seoul City treasury bank, it developed a computerized system with a huge budget, highlighting the merit of unifying the computerized systems between Seoul City and the 25 autonomous districts.
Shinhan Bank, which operated the Incheon City treasury bank, entered Seoul for the first time by becoming the treasury bank of Yongsan-gu in the 7th local government term, demonstrating its strength by attracting not only the Seoul City treasury bank but also consecutive district treasury banks.
Riding this momentum, Shinhan Bank has also embarked on the selection of treasury banks for Seoul's 25 autonomous districts.
Currently, Shinhan Bank operates the treasury banks of five autonomous districts including Yongsan-gu, Seongdong-gu, Seocho-gu, Gangnam-gu, and Gangbuk-gu. In contrast, Woori Bank operates 18 districts, and KB operates 2 districts.
