According to the province, more than 60 employees from the Provincial Agricultural Policy Bureau, Agricultural Technology Institute, and Miryang Agricultural Technology Center dismantled and removed 1,000㎡ of damaged facility greenhouses and cleaned up the site.
The affected farm had no crops inside the greenhouse at the time of the typhoon, so there was no crop damage, but one facility greenhouse was completely destroyed, and the farm was not enrolled in disaster insurance.
The province reported that due to the typhoon, Miryang-si experienced strong winds accompanied by a maximum instantaneous wind speed of 15.1 m/s and cumulative rainfall of 132.8 mm.
Damage to fallen fruit crops such as apples and jujubes reached 179.5 hectares, and damage to facility greenhouses reached 1.6 hectares, making it the largest damage recorded in Gyeongnam.
