President's Office Political Secretaries 1 and 2 Likely to Be Jeon Hee-kyung and Jang Kyung-sang
Jeon Hee-kyung, former member of the National Assembly, and Jang Kyung-sang, Secretary General of the National Management Research Institute, have been finally selected as the Presidential Office’s Political Affairs Secretaries 1 and 2.
According to the Presidential Office on the 6th, the official announcement of the appointments for the Political Affairs Secretaries 1 and 2 is expected as early as the 7th. Jeon Hee-kyung and Jang Kyung-sang will take on the roles of Political Affairs Secretaries 1 and 2, and they reportedly visited the Yongsan Presidential Office on the same day to meet and greet the staff.
Following a recent large-scale personnel reshuffle, the vacant Senior Administrative Officer and Administrative Officer positions in the Political Affairs Office are also expected to be filled after discussions with the new secretaries.
Kim Dae-gi, Chief of Staff to the President, is also reportedly considering holding a briefing on the progress of the Presidential Office reorganization on the afternoon of the 7th. The briefing aims to explain the purpose, criteria, and principles of the personnel reshuffle and to disclose future organizational management policies.

However, some speculate that additional dismissals or replacements of secretary-level officials may be announced after Chuseok. Earlier, Chief Kim stated, "The renewal of the Secretariat will continue for five years," emphasizing that "the organization is a living organism that continuously changes as needed," thereby formalizing ongoing reorganization.
