[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hee-jun] A total of 94 golf courses nationwide will operate without closing during the upcoming Chuseok holiday.

The Korea Golf Course Management Association (Chairman Park Chang-yeol) announced on the 6th that, based on a survey of member golf courses regarding their opening and closing status during the holiday period, 94 courses will operate without closing. Ninety-seven courses will close only on Chuseok day, the 10th, and four courses will close for two or more days during the holiday.

Gonjiam will be closed for three days from the day before Chuseok to Chuseok day and the substitute holiday on the 12th. Laviebel, which operates 36 holes, will close the Old Course on the 9th, the day before Chuseok, and the Dunes Course on the 10th, Chuseok day. The association plans to update the opening and closing status of golf courses in real time on its website.
