On the 6th, the 1st Marine Division announced that two KAAVs and three IBSs were deployed to rescue civilians expected to be isolated in flooded areas due to the impact of Hinnamnor. The KAAV is an amphibious assault vehicle capable of operating both on land and water. The IBS is an inflatable boat used for maritime infiltration.
The 1st Marine Division stated, "We are fully prepared to immediately carry out missions by deploying to civilian damage recovery operations anytime and anywhere in case of emergencies."
