Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Hosts IT Women Employment and Startup Portfolio Contest
[Asia Economy (Bucheon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is holding a portfolio contest for women in the information technology field seeking employment or entrepreneurship.
The foundation announced on the 6th that it will hold the "2022 Information Technology (IT) Field Women Employment and Entrepreneurship Portfolio Contest" divided into five categories?user-based design (UX/UI), editorial design, emoticons, data visualization, and video?until the 31st of next month to promote IT employment and entrepreneurship and support capacity building.
Eligibility includes women aged 15 or older residing in Gyeonggi-do, students currently enrolled in or graduates of schools in the province, and those who have completed (or are expected to complete) education programs hosted by the foundation.
Individuals or teams of up to three members can submit up to two works in total.

Hong Chun-hee, head of the Women's Capacity Development Division at the foundation, stated, "With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, demand for skilled professionals is increasing, and this contest is being held to support the strengthening of women's employment capabilities. We will take the lead in contributing to the development of female professionals through various women-specialized employment and entrepreneurship support programs."
