Seoul Metro Corporation Announces Open Recruitment for 513 New Employees
Recruitment of 513 People in 15 Occupations Including Office, Crew, Vehicle, and Electrical ▲Hiring 70 Disabled, 30 Veterans, 3 North Korean Defectors as Socially Vulnerable Groups ▲Seoul City Joins Policy Direction 'Walking with the Vulnerable' ▲Written Test → Personality Test → Interview Sequence ▲Online Application Submission from September 20 to 26
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seoul Metro (President Kim Sang-beom) will publicly recruit 513 new employees starting from September 20.
The general open recruitment will hire a total of 377 people across 13 job categories. By job category, there are 81 office workers, 169 train crew, 48 vehicle maintenance, 9 electrical, 12 information and communication, 14 signaling, 17 mechanical, 1 electronics, 2 track and civil engineering, 4 architecture, 4 platform safety door, 1 health management, and 15 welfare support (cooking) positions.
The selection for socially disadvantaged groups will be conducted through restricted competition in accordance with Seoul City's main administrative policy value of ‘Walking Together with the Vulnerable.’ This includes 70 people with disabilities, 30 veterans, 14 technical and skilled high school graduates (including prospective graduates), and 3 North Korean defectors, totaling 117 people.
Additionally, 16 railway traffic controllers and 3 security guards will be publicly recruited.
Applicants can submit their application forms on the company website from 10 a.m. on September 20 until 5 p.m. on September 26.
The recruitment process will proceed in the order of written test, personality test, and interview. The written test consists of two subjects: NCS Basic Vocational Competency Assessment and Job Performance Ability Assessment. However, for office positions, only one subject, the NCS Basic Vocational Competency Assessment, will be conducted.
The written test date is October 15, and detailed information such as the test location will be announced on the company website on October 7.
