Seo Yo-seop (26), who won two consecutive weeks on the Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour, jumped to 283rd in the world rankings. In the men's golf world rankings announced on the 5th (local time), he jumped 23 spots from 306th last week. He won the Korean Tour LX Championship the day before, securing the winner's trophy for two consecutive weeks following the Gunsan CC Open. In an interview immediately after his victory, Seo said, "With two consecutive wins, I think I will enter the top 300 in the world rankings. I understand that being within the top 300 increases opportunities to participate in foreign tournaments," adding, "I want to work hard in every tournament going forward to seize more opportunities."
