Changwon National University and Gyeongnam Province Collaborate on Future Convergence College Admission Promotion 'Together'
Early Admission Applications for the 2023 Academic Year Open from the 13th to the 17th

The meeting was attended by Choi Hee-gyu, Dean of the College of Future Convergence, Lee Sang-bin, Head of the Department of New Industry Convergence Management, Lee Jong-baek, Administrative Director of the College of Future Convergence, Kang Seok, Special Advisor for Public Communication of Gyeongnam Province, and Lee So-young, Officer of the Administrative Innovation Division, discussing cooperation plans for admissions promotion.
Established in 2017 as a lifelong education college project, Changwon National University College of Future Convergence consists of various departments operating admissions for working professionals and lifelong learners, and has produced graduates twice to date.
At the meeting, university officials emphasized the university’s strengths, explaining, “Starting from the 2023 academic year admissions, the age limit for lifelong learners has been lowered to 23 years old, allowing many Gyeongsangnam-do residents to apply.”
Dean Choi Hee-gyu stated, “Gyeongsangnam-do promised to actively promote and strengthen industry-academia cooperation so that many working professionals and lifelong learners can apply through related institutions in the province, including Gyeongnam Technopark, a Gyeongsangnam-do funded and supported organization, and chambers of commerce,” adding, “Before the regular admissions, we intend to pay even more attention to promotion through meetings with the governor.”
Changwon National University plans to accept applications for next year’s early admissions from the 13th to the 17th.
