Yanolja Appoints Lee Chan-hee, Former Amazon CPO
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Leisure platform Yanolja announced on the 5th that it has recruited Lee Chanhee as its Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Newly appointed CPO Lee Chanhee is a product expert who, after completing an MBA at the University of Chicago, has held roles at Amazon overseeing offline new business, global expansion of the e-commerce division, launch of Prime membership, and overall management of global store expansion. He led Amazon's overseas expansion strategy and spearheaded the launch of 'Amazon X 11st,' Amazon's first entry into the Korean market.
Yanolja recruited CPO Lee, believing that his diverse global market entry experience will accelerate the global business expansion of the Yanolja platform business. As the head of product for the Yanolja platform, CPO Lee will secure domestic and international leisure products and expand the platform network worldwide through various partnerships. He also plans to enhance the platform to improve customer satisfaction through more sophisticated personalization and recommendation technologies, while enabling co-growth with affiliated stores and partners.
