Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 4th that it donated 300 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea at the Sarangui Yeolmae Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, to support low-income households and revitalize small business owners and traditional markets in celebration of Chuseok.
The donation from LH will be distributed as 100,000 KRW each to 3,000 households receiving basic living subsidies among residents of nationwide permanent rental housing, based on recommendations from local governments to prevent duplicate benefits. To promote traditional markets and other activities, the entire amount will be provided in the form of Onnuri gift certificates.
The donation ceremony was attended by Lee Jeong-gwan, Acting President of LH, and Kim Hyo-jin, Acting Secretary General of the Community Chest of Korea.
