Kim Jin-young, Chief of Seogwipo Coast Guard, Conducts On-site Inspection in Preparation for Typhoon 'Hinnamnor' Approaching North
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] On the 2nd, Kim Jin-young, Chief of Seogwipo Maritime Police Station, conducted a frontline inspection in preparation for the northward approach of Typhoon No. 11 ‘Hinnamnor’.
According to Seogwipo Maritime Police Station on the day, Chief Kim visited major ports and harbors in the jurisdiction such as Seongsanpo Port, Seogwipo Port, and Hwasun Port, as well as police substations and branch offices to check the safety status of moored vessels and the management status of facilities, inspecting typhoon response and emergency dispatch readiness.
He also encouraged the on-site workers at the police substations who were fully engaged in typhoon preparations and ordered thorough readiness.
Chief Kim Jin-young said, “Please make every effort to ensure preventive measures are perfect to minimize typhoon damage, and do your best to prevent any safety accidents through prompt response.”
